The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for the
Director of Continuing Medical Education (CME) Program, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine [R0148845] .
Responsibilities
Responsible for day‑to‑day operational management and accreditation of the CME Program.
Develops activities to meet identified educational needs and pursues new business opportunities for the program and the School.
Sources funding that fully supports the CME Program and Office of CME, including expansion of the budget and revenue return to the School.
Establishes policy and procedures; supervises staff; markets overall programs; provides financial oversight for all areas.
Assists the Executive Director of Faculty Affairs, Assistant Dean of the CME Program, and Senior Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs with special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum five years of experience in the medical or medical education field.
At least five years of progressively responsible management experience and five years supervising others.
All required credentials obtained prior to the start date.
