Raytheon is seeking an experienced Program Management, Planning & Scheduling professional to join the Program Design & Planning organization. This position will develop, maintain and analyze the Program Master Phasing Schedule and Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule, ensuring accurate and effective planning for the scope of work.

What You Will Do

Lead integration of program solutions into the IMS baseline plan, fully integrating cost, schedule and technical requirements.

Create and maintain compliant Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) on customer requirements.

Ensure program plan and IMS are developed consistently with IPDS and program life cycle.

Recommend alternative program management plans/artifacts to help the team manage the plan.

Conduct and explain Schedule Risk Analysis results, integrating mitigation plans into the IMS and risk management process.

Provide weekly and monthly planning metrics on schedule status, baseline maintenance, critical path analysis, schedule variance analysis and network logic validation.

Mentor and train junior planners.

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 8 years of Program Planning or Scheduling or Project Management experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience.

Experience with scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan or similar).

Experience developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and evaluating critical path and workflow.

Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Integrated Product Development System (IPDS).

Ability to integrate technical, schedule and cost in an EVMS environment.

Experience interpreting Schedule Risk Analysis results and program schedule risk drivers.

Collaboration with Planning and functional organization SMEs.

Understanding of hardware and software development life cycle, agile exposure.

Previous project management experience and/or certification.

Salary range: $101,000 – $203,000 USD. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) match and more.
