Our client, a leading manufacturer in the food industry, is seeking a Regulatory Scientist to join their team. As a Regulatory Scientist, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Chicago, Illinois What's the Job? Provide nutritional, labeling, and regulatory expertise to support business goals and ensure compliance. Independently write and validate technical label copy in accordance with FDA regulations. Review and approve label art files in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Lead product development projects from concept through commercialization. Maintain Genesis records to support FDA label compliance standards. What's Needed? B.S. in Food Science, Nutrition, Biology, Engineering, or related field required; MS preferred. 5 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in government labeling regulations. Knowledge of FDA food labeling regulations and experience with regulatory interpretation. Proficiency in ESHA Genesis or similar food labeling programs, SAP, and Microsoft Office suite.
