Role Summary
The Senior Project Manager will provide overall direction and leadership, owning project outcomes for significantly complex projects and/or multiple projects. This role involves full management of project operations, profitability, and administration, aligned with JE Dunn's strategy, vision, and values. Key Role Responsibilities - Core
Lead safety culture initiatives, promote an injury-free environment, investigate incidents, and retrain staff as needed. Manage the JE Dunn prestart checklist process. Support preconstruction activities including quantity takeoff, trade coordination, scope development, bid package creation, and schedule development. Lead buyout schedule planning, verify pricing and scope, identify successful bidders, and manage subcontract issuance. Manage submittal schedules, review and approve shop drawings and samples, and coordinate with logistics for material and equipment pricing. Coordinate with risk management on subcontractor approval and bonding requirements, providing ongoing risk analysis. Interface with all project stakeholders, including subcontractors, owners, field teams, design teams, and vendors. Disseminate change requests, gather and evaluate subcontractor pricing, and prepare owner/architect change approvals. Lead project meetings, oversee monthly pay applications, and develop project schedules with the team. Identify schedule impacts and develop mitigation plans, prepare project documentation, and provide regular project status reports. Assist in budget development, review costs, and lead project closeout processes. Additional Responsibilities - Senior Project Manager

Support preconstruction discussions, oversee estimate development, and actively manage project risks. Assist with business planning, manage project deliverables, and engage in external relationship building. Negotiate project issues, review scope and bid analysis, and collaborate on marketing efforts. Promote diversity and inclusion within JE Dunn. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in MS Office, project management, scheduling software, BIM, and construction technology. Ability to build relationships, manage budgets, and lead projects from start to finish. Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. 10+ years of construction management experience. Working Environment
Valid driver’s license required. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, travel, and work non-traditional hours. Work may involve extreme weather conditions and site visits. Benefits & Equal Opportunity
