Oversee Compassionate, Evidence-Based Care in a Dual-Diagnosis Setting
Healing Rock Recovery is seeking a skilled and passionate Clinical Director to join our team full-time at our Billings, Montana facility. This leadership role will oversee the clinical programming for both our Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs.
As Clinical Director, youll be a cornerstone of our missionguiding a team of clinicians and support staff with integrity, clinical insight, and trauma-informed compassion. Youll shape the therapeutic environment, ensure programmatic excellence, and directly impact the lives of clients seeking meaningful recovery.

Position Summary:
The Clinical Director will provide administrative and clinical leadership, including:
Oversight of PHP/IOP clinical programs for both mental health and substance use. Supervision of licensed and unlicensed clinical staff. Oversight of clinical documentation, compliance, and quality assurance. Participation in treatment planning, utilization review, and program development. Ensuring adherence to Joint Commission, state, and payer requirements. Collaborating with medical staff and executive leadership to maintain high standards of care.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field. Montana LCSW in good standing
(Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor). Approved by Montana Board of Behavioral Health to supervise (i.e., completed board-approved supervision training and eligible to supervise LMSW/LCPC-C candidates). Minimum 35 years of clinical experience, including supervisory or leadership experience in a treatment setting. Familiarity with ASAM criteria, LOCUS criteria and trauma-informed care. Experience with Joint Commission standards is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range: $85,000 $100,000, commensurate with experience. Comprehensive benefits package including:
