Join Oracle’s Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team in Nashville as a Software Engineer 4. You will help build and operate massive‑scale, integrated cloud services in a broad, distributed, multi‑tenant environment. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining highly available and scalable services for the OCI Dataservices database service. Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable services for the OCI Dataservices database service. Build automation tools for managing a large and fast‑growing fleet of database services. Drive continuous improvement and best practices for production operations and troubleshooting. Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to cross‑functional teams. Manage ambiguity and deliver solutions in a dynamic, fluid environment. Minimum Qualifications
Lead cloud engineer with a track record of delivering high‑scale, high‑impact solutions. Advanced knowledge of computer science concepts, data structures, algorithms, and programming paradigms. Proficiency in Java or Python. Proficiency in Oracle Database Engineering. Experience building highly available services with service‑oriented design patterns and service‑to‑service communication protocols. Experience with production operations, code quality, and troubleshooting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a fast‑paced environment. Experience building control‑plane / data‑plane solutions for cloud‑native companies. Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving performance issues in complex environments. Benefits
