Helidon team is hiring a Java Developer. Helidon Framework is a strategic product that brings the latest Java technology to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) using simple, low‑overhead, and highly productive programming models.
Job Description You will work with a global, experienced Java development team delivering features that enable software developers to efficiently use the latest Java features as they develop Java Services and Applications. The role focuses on creating high‑quality code, collaborating closely with product owners and developers, and contributing to “Helidon MP” and "Helidon Inject" initiatives.
Responsibilities
Enable developer user customer success
Develop new Java features for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Develop features that enable Java‑based AI that run everywhere and perform best on OCI
Qualifications Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience with one or more of the following technologies:
RESTful Web Services programming (JAX-RS)
Kubernetes (K8s) development
Security Frameworks such as OIDC, OAuth, IDCS, Jipher, Bouncy Castle
MicroProfile
Jakarta EE Persistence (JPA), EclipseLink, Hibernate
Server protocols (HTTP, MCP, gRPC, GraphQL)
