About Neuroscience Our Neuroscience team tackles the world’s toughest brain health challenges including multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, myasthenia gravis, epilepsy, major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and autism. This patient-focused team helps address some of the most complex diseases of our time.

Description The Director, Global Commercial Excellence Neuroscience works across the neuroscience portfolio to increase competitiveness of key programs. The role serves as a marketing strategy consultant and focuses on elevating commercial strategy development, accelerating the commercial execution roadmap (pre‑launch through post‑launch), and driving commercial success across markets and the portfolio.

Proactively partner with DAS teams to create an integrated Global Core Asset Strategy per product from pre‑launch through post‑launch.

Ensure commercial strategies are grounded in insights to address market needs.

Apply MarketingX best practices to help teams optimize and communicate asset potential for milestone investment decisions, long‑range planning and business planning.

Collaborate with GCSO teams to build effective go‑to‑market approaches for competitively compliant launches.

Ensure global launch readiness across labeling, labeling sequencing, packaging, naming, and prepare for Global Launch Readiness reviews.

Drive and accelerate organizational capabilities for consistent utilization of MarketingX and Launch Excellence approaches across GCSO teams.

Identify and drive capability enhancement within GCSO and regions.

Qualifications

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree; advanced degree in business or life sciences preferred.

10+ years of business experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or relevant industry.

In‑line marketing experience with brand responsibility in dynamic specialty therapeutic area; prior neuroscience experience preferred.

Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, integrate insights into strategies and actions.

Experience working cross‑functionally and cross‑geographically.

Global strategic marketing experience with commercial responsibility in pre‑launch product development and commercial launch environments preferred.

Other preferred experiences: launch experience, global market access, medical strategy.

Leadership Strengths

Strong communication skills, ability to work with senior leaders in US, EMEA, APAC and LATAM.

Enterprise mindset, influence without authority.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive decision making.

Pay Range $150,000 to $258,750

Eligibility for consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). Eligible for long-term incentive program. Time off: Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year; Sick time – 40 hours per calendar year; Holiday pay – 13 days per calendar year; Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year; Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year; Condolence Leave – 30 days for an immediate family member; Caregiver Leave – 10 days; Volunteer Leave – 4 days; Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours.
