EY is leveraging SAP technology to enhance clients’ operations. The EY SAP Agile Business Transformation program focuses on strategy, customer value, user experiences, processes, and technology. SAP Logistics professionals deliver strategic solutions to transform logistics operations, improving cost, efficiency, quality, and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver quality SAP projects or workstreams.
Participate in Explore phase design workshops.
Perform configuration of SAP Inventory Management, Logistics Execution, Application Link Enabling (ALE) and other related SAP modules.
Design interfaces and integration between SAP and external WMS applications.
Design custom RICEF solutions and document functional specifications.
Perform testing of solutions.
Support development and delivery of training materials.
Provide on-site hyper‑care support to client / 3PL warehouse users.
Demonstrate in‑depth technical capabilities and possess strong business acumen.
Consistently deliver quality client services. Monitor progress, manage risk and keep stakeholders informed.
Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels.
Skills and Attributes for Success Build relationships and communicate effectively to deliver exceptional client service. You will initiate requirement gathering, architect solutions, blueprint and complete testing, documentation, and functional design. Liaise with stakeholders and technical teams to translate needs into business solutions and configure integrations with SAP and non‑SAP systems.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (4‑year degree).
4–6 years relevant experience.
At least 3 years experience with SAP logistics solutions involving external WMS integration.
Experience with interface solution design using EDI, X12, EDIFACT and/or API technologies.
Experience configuring SAP Logistics Execution and Materials Management.
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.
Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues.
Experience managing an SAP project or workstream and project‑based team members.
Willingness to travel 40–60%.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior consulting industry experience or deep functional experience.
SAP certification(s).
Experience with at least two full‑lifecycle implementations of SAP S/4.
Experience with at least two full‑lifecycle integrations with an external WMS with SAP.
Experience with EDI messaging, especially messages 846, 856, 888, 940, 943, 944, 945 and 947, and/or X12 or EDIFACT equivalents.
Experience with API integration to non‑SAP WMS solutions.
Knowledge of warehouse operations for distribution and/or manufacturing facility operations.
