Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing preparation, analysis and presentation of accurate financial performance reports (Budget and Actual), while managing the financial systems that produce these reports (Adaptive Insights). The role involves compliance with company policies, providing strategic financial insights and implementing or improving financial reporting systems. Collaboration with key finance stakeholders aligns all finance functions to drive improvements in performance reporting and analytics.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Lead preparation of standard, accurate, timely financial performance reports, analyzing data and providing insightful commentary to senior management.
Lead preparation of budget and forecast reports, analyzing data and providing commentary to senior management.
Oversee consolidation and reporting software (Adaptive Insights): manage upgrades, integration projects, and ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
Provide first line support, troubleshoot system issues, and perform maintenance tasks.
Test systems upgrades and new implementations to ensure correct functionality.
Identify areas for process improvements and automation within financial operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure security and integrity of financial data.
Train users on the effective use of Adaptive Insights.
Collaborate with Finance and IT departments to ensure the system meets business needs and complies with company policies.
Embody and live company values.
Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Experience: 8+ years relevant experience.
Skills:
Work independently under minimal supervision.
Well organized.
Proficiency in SAP / Adaptive Insights.
Strong ability to analyze data, identify issues, and find solutions.
Handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Troubleshoot technical issues, identify problems, and provide solutions.
Project management skills to oversee system implementations and improvements.
Discipline to deliver on key objectives.
Physical Demands
Sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
