We are seeking an experienced, analytical and results oriented
Accounts Receivable
Manager
to lead Food Prep Solutions’ accounts receivable management function. This role will oversee all aspects of credit, collections, and cash application, driving improvements in the cash conversion cycle through effective use of technology and team management as the company scales nationally.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the Company’s full accounts receivable function
Lead, manage, and develop the Accounts Receivable team by setting clear performance goals and development expectations
Develop processes to keep the Company’s DSO as low as possible (initial target: 45 days) and address past‑due receivables in a timely manner
Maintain clean aging reports by minimizing unapplied credits and debits
Oversee the cash application process to ensure timely and accurate application (cash should be properly applied within 24‑48 hours of receipt)
Manage lockbox operations (ACH, checks), credit card and cash collections
Effectively use third‑party payment platforms to improve collections and manage receivables; oversee training and tool utilization across the AR team
Work closely with the Operations team to ensure collections efforts are consistent and clear
Manage daily operations and perform hands‑on collections and cash application tasks, as needed
Qualifications
Minimum 5–10 years of experience managing Accounts Receivable with a preference for high‑volume invoice environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external customers
Familiarity with third‑party payment platforms and ability to leverage them to drive improvements in the cash conversion cycle (e.g., Versapay)
Self‑starter with the ability to work independently
Demonstrated ability to develop and train team members
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Sense of urgency
Ability to problem‑solve and implement solutions
