Immunologist/Biologist , you will support drug discovery programs by running established protocols and developing new assays to interrogate the pharmacology of novel innate immune modulators. This role offers you the opportunity to lead key activities to advance your career, including: Developing and enhancing biology analytical platforms and technologies. Collaborating with Discovery teams to identify project needs and designing experiments to address project questions within agreed timelines. Independently determining scientific approaches and transferring optimized methods to contract research organizations for application to studies. Developing and applying industry tools for selected studies. Maintaining thorough documentation of all experimental work to ensure data integrity. Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
PhD in Immunology or a relevant biology field with 3+ years post-doctoral experience in an immunology environment. Experience in designing and executing new and established methods and protocols. Preferred Qualifications:
If you possess the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Experience in inflammatory diseases. Technical expertise in flow cytometry, primary cell culture, Western blotting, ELISA/MSD, transfection, transduction, CRISPR gene editing, cell-based assays, and assay development. Previous experience in biotech and/or pharmaceutical drug discovery. Understanding of drug discovery processes, including small and large molecule development. Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results promptly. Effective prioritization of multiple projects and meeting deadlines with attention to detail. Ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific data. Why GSK?
