Phlebotomist (Full-Time) – Culver City
Joining Tia as a Phlebotomist involves performing routine administrative and clinical tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly. You will be responsible for rooming patients, collecting health information, messaging, preparing rooms, collecting & preparing blood and other samples.

Essential Functions
Prepare lab orders for URL and IRL one day in advance
Reconcile lab errors
Maintain knowledge of Quest products, specimen processing requirements, and act as point of contact for the Quest account
Identify patients and their personal information by reviewing identity documents
Assess patient needs, review history, and determine reasons for drawing blood
Select gauge needles and prepare veins or fingers for blood drawing
Extract blood via venipuncture or fingersticks
Analyze specimens with correct testing equipment when necessary
Prepare specimens for transport, label vials accurately and match specimens to patients
Supply diagnostic notes to physicians and other health professionals
Keep and maintain records of patient names, volume of blood drawn, and diagnostic findings
Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment used for drawing and testing
Order laboratory supplies as needed

Escort patients to exam rooms
Complete vitals
Set communication with provider and channel
Basic housekeeping for communal areas
Review patient charts one day in advance to prep for visitRun all controls
Autoclave maintenance
Surgical equipment sterilization
Set-up and chaperone surgical procedures
Obtain patient consents for procedures
Maintain appropriate level of office supplies and medical forms
Review clinic inbox in Tia MD
Support provider with U.A. CX, HCG, glucose testing
AD‑HOC Duties
Execute ad‑hoc projects as needed and meet deadlines across cross‑functional collaboration
Undertake projects such as research, product sourcing, G‑Suite documentation, miscellaneous errands, and facilitation of team meetings and training
Collaborate to build high‑quality, user‑centric products in women’s healthcare
