Job Description Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the employee will perform a variety of specialized services in support of the operations of the assigned clinic. Responsibilities include: checking in scheduled and add‑on patients, answering telephone and routing calls, entering demographic, insurance and charge data into the system, checking patients out of the clinic and performing follow‑up as necessary, maintaining clinic revenue records, providing assistance and responding to patient needs within the waiting room, and consistently demonstrating outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, physicians and staff. Qualifications One (1) year of customer service experience required. Business Office education or similar coursework desired. Must attend all required coursework assigned by management; possess basic knowledge of medical terminology and advanced knowledge of PC applications, software and database management; perform math and bookkeeping skills; possess exceptional telephone and customer service skills and be knowledgeable of English grammar and punctuation. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; none required.
