Position Overview Performance Contracting is seeking a

Branch Safety Supervisor

for its

Cincinnati‑581

operations based in Cincinnati, OH. This individual will be primarily responsible for training and coaching workers to gain compliance with the PCI Target Zero accident prevention plans and develop a winning safety culture.

Job Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To

Assist the branch with implementing and administering the PCG and client accident prevention plans, policies and procedures.

Implement and support PCG’s Vision: People + Strategy + Execution and PCG’s core values.

Ensure that the company and client safety reports, statistics and documentation are submitted in a timely manner.

Provide comprehensive monthly reports to General Manager and Corporate Regional Safety Manager.

Counsel and coach workers to gain compliance with the accident prevention plans, policies and procedures.

Maintain a keen awareness of pending legislation and regulator mandates, develop alternatives for the company to approach to compliance, and communicate these issues through the Corporate Safety Support Team.

Provide safety technical expertise and support to the branch.

Promote safety and safe work practices.

Interface the Corporate Safety Support Staff relative to legal, regulatory agencies, incident/accident management, etc.

Assist in the investigation of work‑related injuries, illnesses and near‑miss incidents.

Enforce corrective action to prevent the recurrence of hazardous conditions or behaviors.

Practice timely and accurate accident reporting.

Review all accidents and investigation reports.

Act as liaison between the company and client as it relates to site safety management.

Assist in identifying, correcting and mitigating routine and non‑routine safety and health hazards.

Serve as a safety resource for employees.

Model a professional and positive attitude as the safety representative of branch and corporation.

Identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential safety health hazards.

Conduct job site inspections and periodic audits to establish and evaluate the level of compliance.

Establish branch and project safety goals.

Evaluate and approve safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Network and participate with outside professionals and specified organization regarding emerging issues, best practices and regulatory compliance.

Ability to perform all job duties and associated work functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Basic Requirements

Must have at least 3 years’ experience in construction safety.

Must have OSHA 30, OSHA 500, 501, 510 certification.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Must be able to travel to job sites located in the Cincinnati market.

Displays strong verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively convey information to employees, customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside.

Physically able to perform assigned tasks.

Must be able to lift 40 pounds independently.

Preferred Requirements

Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

Degree in Occupational or Environmental Health and Safety is a plus.

CHST or other BCSP Credentials is a plus.

Previous experience conducting safety training is a plus.
