Sr Patient Services Specialist
Location: Canyon, TX

Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and sincerely as they arrive at the clinic or call in via phone.
Act as the patient's guide and advocate through the administrative details of their clinic visits.
Identify and update patient information by navigating multiple computer systems and inputting accurate data.
Receive all incoming calls for the clinic and distribute information accordingly.
Calculate and collect payment for clinic services.
Ensure patient benefits have been verified and input accurately upon check‑in.
Schedule patient appointments.
Assist with appointment reminder calls and missed appointment service recovery.
Coordinate clinic schedule information with providers and staff.
Maintain a professional customer service atmosphere for patients, providers, and staff.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Three (3) years of customer service, office, or related experience, with two (2) of those years in a healthcare or dental clinic setting preferred.
Additional education may substitute for the experience requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Allscripts/Veradigm PM.
Experience in a clinic setting, OBGYN preferred.
English/Spanish bilingual.

Job Details Job Type: Full Time Pay Basis: Hourly Pay Grade Minimum: 16.00 Pay Grade Maximum: 16.10 Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. Grant Funded: No Travel Required: Up to 25% Shift: Day Schedule Details: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm
