Garden Support Assist with planting, maintenance, and harvesting in our community garden Focus on growing vegetables, first food, and plant medicine Help ensure fresh, homegrown produce is available for client food boxes Support sustainability and food security efforts
Please bring: Weather related clothing (Rain jackets for rainy days, light weight clothing when it is hot) Water bottle Hats Sunscreen
Volunteers are needed Mondays and Saturdays 9am - 1pm.
This is an opportunity to gain insight into Native Americans' traditional first foods, understand the principles of food sovereignty, and contribute to the ongoing development of the garden.
Founded by the community, for the community, NAYA is a family of numerous tribes and voices who are rooted in sustaining tradition and building cultural wealth. We provide culturally-specific programs and services that guide our people in the direction of personal success and balance through cultural empowerment.
