Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector (NGAS) has an opening for a Manager Industrial Security 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Security organization. This leadership role is located in Redondo Beach, CA. The Manager Industrial Security 3 will have the responsibility of developing and administering security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. This will include the following responsibilities: Role Responsibilities: Direct and oversee compliance program Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepare manuals outlining regulations, and establish procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Develop and implement security education program. Oversee internal security audits. Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Provide direction to security team members to assist with the execution of their statement of work. Assist with team members' professional development and growth. Lead a team of security professionals to ensure consistent application of the leadership characteristics that are expected of all employees within the organization. Ensure employee engagement across the team. Collaborate across teams within the Security organization. Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development/mentoring to professionals at all levels. Develop and implement security policy and standards across the program. Ensure all program performance objectives as well as key milestones and deliverables are met. Manage a security budget within an established target. Manage program security compliance and operations across multiple functions - PHYSEC, COMSEC, PERSEC, Investigations and Document Control Management. This position will be 1st shift, 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off, phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree AND 7+ years of experience in Security within the Aircraft, Aerospace, Manufacturing Industries or Military related experience OR Master’s Degree AND 5+ years of experience in Security within the Aircraft, Aerospace, Manufacturing Industries or Military related experience OR High School Diploma AND 11+ years of experience in Security within the Aircraft, Aerospace, Manufacturing Industries or Military related experience Minimum of 3 Years of management, supervisor, or other demonstrated leadership experience. Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance that is in-scope granted or renewed in the last 5 years and the ability to obtain special program access. Preferred Qualifications: Top Secret/ Tier 5 clearance with SCI/ SAP + CI Poly Experience running restricted programs Knowledge and familiarity with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD Manuals, ICD’s, and other US Government security manuals. Ability to execute Security and Program Management concepts. Experience managing multiple function teams across the program enterprise. Excellent communication, writing and organization skills, enabling effective communications with team members, fellow employees and government officials. Ability to work in a team environment with minimal oversight. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interact with internal/external customers. Salary Range:
$154,600 - $231,800 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
