Strategic Technology Institute, Inc. (STi) is seeking qualified applicants for a Technical Screener & Procurement Specialist position supporting Naval Sea Systems Command’s (NAVSEA) Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) in Bethesda, MD. STi is a minority-owned small disadvantaged business (SDB) providing solutions in Maintenance, Repair, & Overhaul (MRO), logistics, Safety, Reliability, Maintainability, & Quality Assurance (SRM&QA), IT & cybersecurity, and project management & control. Our management systems are AS9100D, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 9001:2015 certified, fostering a culture of “Safety First, Quality Always.” Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by executing safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency activities Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively Conduct patrols around the premises, varying by site conditions Inspect items using x-ray viewing equipment to identify potential threats View cargo images remotely and alert screeners to issues Communicate situation details to relevant personnel Coordinate tasks related to advanced procurement planning Serve as a technical advisor to commanders and officials, overseeing program activities and policies Supervise program managers and delegate responsibilities throughout the acquisition lifecycle Develop management techniques and establish internal controls Organize acquisition activities, determine priorities, and set performance standards Coordinate among leadership, staff, and units for successful program development and execution Manage costs, schedules, logistics, and system integration as a project manager Oversee contracting functions to ensure supply and service needs are met Analyze purchase requests, evaluate offers, and perform cost or price analysis Administer contracts and ensure regulatory compliance Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field, or additional military/DoD experience in supply chain or procurement (5+ years) Minimum of five years’ experience processing MILSTRIP procurements Management experience in procurement, customer service, or process improvements preferred Knowledge of NAVY N-ERP preferred Possess a favorably adjudicated PSI at T3 level
