Job Overview: At Spartronics, the Materials Quote Analyst plays a crucial role in developing accurate, competitive, and detailed material quotes for new bid proposals in the aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial industries. This position is part of our centralized quoting team, supporting multiple manufacturing sites.

What a Day Looks Like: Analyze and quote materials using customer-provided data inputs, including Bills of Materials (BOM), approved manufacturer lists, custom design specifications, testing requirements, and scope of work data packages. Review customer drawings/prints to determine and capture additional requirements related to quote details or costs. Organize technical data packages to communicate effectively with outside suppliers. Coordinate and communicate with vendors to secure best pricing and delivery lead times through RFQs via quoting software, email and phone. Collaborate with internal team members and external suppliers to extract accurate data and information in a timely manner. Create and utilize spreadsheets for providing customers with finalized and detailed materials pricing reports. Maintain manufacturer, commodity and pricing tables in quoting software for accuracy and consistency. Work under the direction of the Corporate Material Quote Manager and collaborate with other team members to ensure quote accuracy. Requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required (any field). 3+ years of experience in electronics purchasing or contract manufacturing, particularly in purchasing, supply chain, and/or electronics component distribution. Microsoft Excel skills (must-have). Proficiency in reading and understanding customer Bills of Materials, Drawings/Blueprints, Electronic Data, and Specifications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word). Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. Excellent organizational and time management skills with problem-solving and analytical aptitude. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. US Citizenship (due to security clearance requirements). Desired Qualifications: Experience with quoting software such as QuoteWin, Silicon Expert, or CalcuQuote. Previous experience in aerospace and defense industries.
