Brownstein’s IT department is seeking a talented
IT Solutions Developer
to contribute to internal product design and build as well as continued health and efficiency of existing IT solutions. This dynamic role presents an opportunity to work “full-stack” while collaborating directly with firm leadership and fellow engineers. The ideal candidate is resourceful and solution-oriented with a consistent eye toward customer satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Take ownership of complex development projects, delivering high-quality, scalable solutions while providing guidance and mentorship to team members. Build custom solutions requested by lawyers/staff, requiring specialized development work and including, but not limited to, requests for AI-based solutions, data reporting, collaboration, LOB applications, integrations, and automations. Make recommendations on best technical approaches and tools to leverage when building custom solutions, including providing detailed analysis of available options. Measure and report usage of solutions built to leadership on a recurring cadence, including building data visualization for reporting as needed. Contribute written material consistent with IT documentation standards. Establish appropriate software configurations to ensure solutions meet the firm’s stringent security, records management, data privacy, and data residency requirements. Build, maintain, and enhance the firm's information resources to meet current and anticipated needs, including supporting the firm's master data model and data storage infrastructure. Develop rapid prototypes for a wide variety of use cases and functions (matter management, knowledge management, HR, finance/billing, business development, etc.), presenting results to key stakeholders, and turning into production applications where appropriate. Implementation and maintenance of integrations between applications both on-premise and SaaS via APIs and other techniques. Design and develop forms, data structures/databases, and workflows in various systems for business solutions and integrations. Assist with tier 3 escalations from the management team as needed. Ability to handle multiple tasks, concurrent projects, and competing priorities while maintaining calmness and tactfulness in a dynamic and deadline-driven service organization. Other duties as assigned. Required and Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related area from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience. Experience with a reasonable subset of the following is required:
Expertise with the Microsoft 365 platform including SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Dataverse, and other functions of the Azure Platform. Proficiency in Power BI with proven ability to work with diverse datasets, pulling insights from raw data. Proficient with SQL and No-SQL databases. Experience with LLMs and supporting frameworks such as LangChain is a plus. UI/UX design experience is preferred. Modeling of business processes. Python. C#. Proficiency in HTML/CSS and JavaScript. REST/SOAP APIs. SSMS/SSAS/SSIS/SSRS. ETL Processing.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and information. Must be able to recognize where changes and improvements can and should be made. Resourceful and independent problem solver also possessing sound judgement to know when to engage others. Strong time management, prioritization, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent documentation skills with an ability to convey understanding of complex ideas to IT engineers and administrators of varying levels of skill. Compensation and Benefits:
Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck offers a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401k + match, profit sharing, and vacation/sick/personal time off. In addition, this role pays overtime for hours worked above 40 per week. We are offering an annual salary for this role ranging from $140,000-$160,000, depending on experience. To Apply:
