Senior Principal Semiconductor Process Integration Engineer
for our Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) - located outside of
Baltimore, Maryland . Roles and Responsibilities: The Semiconductor Process Integration Engineer will focus on Superconducting Electronics, continuous improvements, and defect reduction of Reciprocal Quantum Logic devices. The candidate will need to support inspection and disposition of engineering material. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. The successful candidate will also support program execution for programs within the Micro Systems Technologies portfolio. Basic Qualifications for Principal Semiconductor Process Integration Engineer: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Microelectronics, Material Science, Chemistry, Physics or closely related technical major with 5 years of relevant experience; Master’s Degree with 3 years; PhD with 0 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of semiconductor processing, especially in Back End of Line (BEOL) process integration.
Aptitude for hands-on laboratory and experimental work.
Aptitude for defectivity reduction and continuous process improvements.
Willingness to work 1st shift (Monday-Friday) 8:00AM-5:30PM (9/80 schedule available).
Familiarity with analyzing PCM test or defectivity data.
Knowledge of yield improvement and defect reduction utilizing data sets from automated defect inspection tools and PCM test.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret w/SCI clearance per business requirements.

Extensive knowledge of semiconductor processing, especially in Back End of Line (BEOL) process integration.
Aptitude for hands-on laboratory and experimental work.
Aptitude for defectivity reduction and continuous process improvements.
Familiarity with analyzing PCM test or defectivity data.
Knowledge of yield improvement and defect reduction utilizing data sets from automated defect inspection tools and PCM test.

Knowledge of yield improvement and defect reduction utilizing automated defect inspection tools and software.
Experience with DOEs, JMP, and statistical analysis
Salary Range:
$105,400 - $158,000 Salary Range 2:
$131,100 - $196,700 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
