We are seeking a Director to lead the Card Platform and Experiences team, shaping the future of the credit card product and its underlying services.
What You’ll Do
Set the vision for the Card Experiences and Platform team at Affim, hiring world‑class full‑stack engineers to execute that vision.
Own core engineering and business outcomes across established verticals – Card experiences, Card services Platform and Card Loan platform.
Partner closely with product and business leadership to build card‑related capabilities that grow and scale the business.
Balance product expansion efforts with platform investments, scaling our platform to handle high traffic and a spectrum of use cases.
Run a robust development lifecycle, establishing a culture of operational excellence while experimenting and learning fast.
Collaborate with cross‑functional partners outside engineering—including product, analytics, risk, servicing, legal and compliance.
What We Look For
15+ years of relevant experience in software engineering.
Experience leading full‑stack and backend teams.
A successful track record of driving key outcomes that contribute to company success.
Comfortable partnering across disciplines and influencing a wide range of leaders.
Experience hiring, growing and retaining talent.
Card‑related domain knowledge. Great if you’ve worked on credit/debit card, accounting, ledgering, open/closed loops, and related areas.
Base Pay & Equity Base Pay Grade : T |
Equity Grade : 18
USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT): $300,000 – $360,000 per year. USA base pay range (other U.S. states): $267,000 – $327,000 per year.
