Position Summary: This hybrid role involves 25‑50% regional travel, includes a company vehicle, overtime pay, and an annual salary range of $93,750 – $137,500. Salary is based on skills, experience, and market conditions.

What You’ll Do The Electrical Services & Systems team offers a comprehensive portfolio of services for every stage of a power system’s life cycle. Our Power Systems Controls group provides full-service integration, designing graphically rich operator interfaces with leading HMI and PLC technologies.

Responsibilities

Design Power Systems Controls.

Program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human‑Machine Interfaces (HMIs).

Program protection relay schemes to implement controls with or without a Data Concentrator.

Manage hyper‑scale data center projects, including factory & witness testing and on‑site commissioning with support from other team members.

Support negotiations through consultation, sales calls, and training.

Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years of power systems controls experience with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Technical Field, OR 4 years of experience with a master’s degree.

Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.

Relocation not offered; candidates must reside within a 50‑mile radius of listed locations. Active‑duty military candidates are exempt.

Preferred Qualifications

Master of Science in Electrical Engineering.

Professional Engineering license.

Experience managing and deploying power automation projects, including PLC programming and direct customer interaction.

Skills

Knowledge of best engineering practices for designing automation systems, power management systems, and HMI software.

Understanding of protection relay‑based monitoring and control systems.

Proficiency with test equipment and diagnostic instruments for automation and power management systems.

Strong computer literacy; experience with relevant software packages.

Familiarity with safety precautions related to working with automation and power systems.

Ability to provide service and represent company interests to develop long‑term customer relationships.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Experience with AutoCAD.

Compliance with the company’s safety program and background screening requirements.
