Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct the search for a
Litigation Paralegal
on behalf of our client, a well‑established civil litigation firm in San Francisco. This is a full‑time, direct‑hire role offering a flexible hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
Draft, format, and edit litigation documents, correspondence, and internal memoranda
Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, depositions, and other key events
Prepare deposition and trial exhibits; assist with trial preparation and logistics
Conduct legal and factual research, including cite‑checking and case law review
Communicate with clients and potential clients professionally and promptly
File and serve legal documents electronically and in hard copy
Manage case files, litigation databases, and e‑discovery; perform data entry and retrieval
Maintain accurate calendars and coordinate deadlines, filings, and appointments
Support attorneys with general administrative duties (e.g., photocopying, scanning, phone coverage)
Assist with updates and revisions to the firm’s website as needed
Qualifications
Previous experience as a litigation paralegal
Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and legal document types (pleadings, motions, discovery, etc.)
Experience with electronic court filing (e‑filing) at both the state and federal levels
Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities
Clear, concise communication skills – both verbal and written
High attention to detail and accuracy in all work product
Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also collaborating effectively with team members
Compensation This position offers an annual salary between $100,000–$120,000 DOE in addition to a full benefits package.
