Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Senior Kinaxis Specialist – Supply Chain Planning. Candidates currently residing within 50 miles of any Eaton location in the United States will be considered. Preferred locations: Beachwood, Ohio; Galesburg, MI; Raleigh, NC; Moon Township, PA; Houston, TX; or Menomonee Falls, WI.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $123,750 - $181,500 per year. Salaries are a general guideline and are based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications.

Job Summary Design, model, configure, and implement functional software and process solutions to meet desired business requirements for Kinaxis/RapidResponse solution deployment and sustainment. Analyze business processes and recommend improvements that use Kinaxis/RapidResponse. Participate in implementations at an expert level, often directing more junior team members. Develop and demonstrate regional or global solutions, implementing controls that are auditable and compliant with business and regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities

Hold in-depth technical and business process knowledge of supply chain planning and execution, and Kinaxis/RapidResponse (preferable) to provide global leadership.

Support the Product Owner in decomposing epics into features and user stories and in estimating them.

Ensure readiness of user stories for the agile team according to Definition of Ready criteria.

Provide Level 3 product support as needed.

Work with key stakeholders to identify and understand their needs.

Manage requirement scope and disposition through process compliance and gap analysis, integration testing, and user acceptance methodology.

Govern global process templates, ensuring solutions benefit all users, sites, divisions, and regions.

Own the set‑up and governance of consolidated, worldwide target processes.

Provide knowledge and input on the system implications of business process changes.

Develop and implement organizational change management plans.

Apply Eaton's product methodology and governance processes to change control, system development life cycle, and regression testing.

Participate in business process improvement committees as needed.

Demonstrate strong analytical skills in evaluating information from multiple sources and regions, reconciling conflicts, and abstracting high-level concepts.

Apply governance processes to the change control, system development life cycle, and ensure regression testing is delivered to maintain system integrity.

Support end‑to‑end processes and possess strong understanding of system touch points.

Maintain strong communication skills and explain complex system issues to senior‑level leaders using common business language.

Drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Minimum seven (7) years of experience in ERP supply‑chain modules (MFGPro, SAP ECC, SAP S/4, Oracle R12, Mapics).

Minimum three (3) years of Kinaxis experience with hands‑on integration/admin exposure.

Must currently reside within 50 miles of an Eaton location in the United States.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Position requires ITAR‑compliant handling of information or hardware; all applicants must be U.S. persons.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Kinaxis/RapidResponse (preferable or Kinaxis Author Level II certified).

Strong functional and technical knowledge, including understanding of core programming and databases.

Understanding of lean agile principles and practices.

Skills

Customer and stakeholder engagement and communications skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate with IT and business teams at all levels.
