Salary:
$245,000 - $295,000 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Defend Fortune 500 companies in complex employment litigation, notably wage and hour class actions. Draft and negotiate a wide array of employment-related documents, including employment and severance agreements. Provide regulatory compliance advice concerning federal and California-specific employment laws. Lead depositions, handle witness interviews, and prepare extensively for trial. Collaborate with a specialized team, offering robust legal strategies in both defensive and proactive capacities. Minimum Position Qualifications: JD from a top-tier law school with a commendable academic record. Bar Admission in California. 3–5 years of robust experience in employment litigation, ideally with some focus on trial work. Proven track record defending wage and hour claims, including class action lawsuits. Strong experience in drafting employment and severance agreements, EEOC position statements, DFEH responses, conducting witness interviews, and depositions. Preferred Qualifications: Background in counseling on federal and state employment law compliance. Experience drafting comprehensive workplace policies and conducting employment training programs. Knowledge in traditional management labor relations. Skills: Superior legal research, writing, and analytical capabilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
