Position Overview: AKAM is seeking a Condo/Co-op Insurance Account Executive with experience in Commercial Condo/Coop Habitational Insurance to assist the Director of Risk Management overseeing insurance on 700 Properties in NY & FL.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Evaluate existing coverages, explain and make recommendations as needed
- Work with Insurance Brokers, Property Managers, Condo/Coop Boards, internal team and others on insurance issues
- Phone & Video meetings with above for all aspects insurance related; coverage discussion, claims handling, renewal marketing & presenting, etc
Qualifications:
- NY P&C Licensed
- Minimum 5-7 years with Condo/Coop Habitational lines servicing experience
- Public Speaking ability a must to present to Condo/Coop Board virtually
- Ability to understand, analyze, and research different lines of insurance
- Detail oriented with good mathematical and communication skills
- Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
