The ideal Electrical Estimator will have experience working on large capital projects.Job Type: Direct HirePay Rate: $130,000-$150,000/year plus bonusBenefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, 401k, PTO, and more.Onsite Flexibility: Monday & Friday, remote; Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, in-officeElectrical Estimator Responsibilities: Develop competitive bids for engineering design and build projects Produce accurate construction estimates based on detailed plans and specs Support a client base including contractors, owners, developers, and end-users Analyze and interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and technical specs to aid the estimation process Develop budget pricing from schematic drawings and narratives Provide realistic projections that meet client expectations Arrange meetings with clients and vendors Draft clear and detailed workshop clarifications, proposals, and vendor solutions. Communicate project needs and solutions. Attend pre-bid meetings, conferences, and sessions with clients and other project stakeholders. Assist team with operating the estimating department Contribute to the design and maintenance of computerized estimating programs and databases Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and others Perform other duties as assigned Electrical Estimator Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) Ability to work successfully as part of a team or independently Excellent time management and organization skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specs Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment Microsoft Office proficiency Timberline/Sage proficiency CAD software proficiency Electrical Estimator Education and Experience: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or a related field is required A minimum of 5 years of large capital project estimating experience is required Previous experience with commissioning estimating experience is required Previous experience designing the structure and schedule of projects is highly desired Electrical Estimator - Immediate need.
