We are actively looking for a Electrical Engineer to join our Baltimore office. As part of the Electrical Group, the Electrical Engineer prepares plans, designs and plan production for general electrical engineering on a wide variety of projects which may include lighting, power, and grounding plans, one‑line diagrams, panel and cable schedules, and different project specifications.

Completes electrical designs to support firm-wide projects by working with Project Managers (any discipline) and electrical teammates

Provides design calculations, design drawings, and project specifications for the following but not limited to:

Medium/low voltage power distribution systems

Lighting systems

Lightning protection systems

Grounding systems

Communications systems

Control Systems

Electrical equipment design (including switchboards and switchgear)

Electrical calculations, selective coordination and arc flash studies

Prepares detailed contract documents, studies and cost estimates

Perform construction management activities such as submittal reviews and construction observations for electrical work on projects

Assist in companywide Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Master's Degree preferred

Electrical license

2-4 years of related experience in:

Medium/low voltage power distribution systems

Grounding systems

Lighting systems

Communications systems

Electrical equipment design (including switchboards and switchgear)

Selective coordination and arc flash studies

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit is required
