Technical Recruiter, Software Engineering
Tesla Recruiters find top talent to power a sustainable & autonomous future. This role partners closely with Engineering business units to identify, attract, and assess exceptional candidates. Our recruiting team supports software hiring across Robotaxi, Vehicle Firmware, Self‑Driving, and Optimus, to name a few. We are looking for passionate, innovative thinkers who can leverage new approaches to bring the very best engineers to Tesla. This position will be based onsite in Palo Alto.
What You’ll Do
Develop robust software pipelines of qualified candidates for near‑term and future hiring needs
Utilize multiple tools and approaches to identify and source top talent
Develop strong working relationships with recruiters, business leaders, and hiring managers
Maintain an expert level understanding of all recruiting processes in an environment that frequently changes
Focus on providing a positive candidate experience at every opportunity
What You’ll Bring
2+ years recruiting/sourcing experience in an in‑house environment
Ability to creatively approach hiring needs for difficult to fill positions
Working knowledge of relevant employment market trends
Working knowledge of common software engineering skill‑sets
Strong ability to track and manage data and workflow

Expected Compensation: $76,000 – $180,000 annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
