Job Responsibilities

Follow compliance guidelines to drive sales performance, ensuring sales forecasts are met or exceeded within the assigned territory by calling on HCP offices and Mental Health Community Centers both in-person and virtually.

Use assigned budgets effectively to achieve territory objectives. Customize discussions and client interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner.

Maintain a current understanding of the local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers, sharing information regularly with relevant internal stakeholders.

Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/regions. Identify and select appropriate programs/resources for each customer, practice, and/or system.

Collaborate with Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives, capitalizing on formulary approvals and other business opportunities through effective implementation of the strategic plan.

Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and sharing best practices.

Accountable for timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample and expense reporting.

Inform and build a business plan based on depth and breadth of customer business needs, resources, and products.

Complete all company and job-related training as assigned within the required timelines.

Job Requirements

2+ years of previous sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical device sales (3+ years of specialty pharmaceutical sales preferred).

Launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales experience highly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and their caregivers; ideal candidate emulates patient‑centricity.

Act with high integrity and always in accordance with the Company’s compliance policies and procedures.

Strong sense of self‑motivation, initiative, and entrepreneurial thirst; excellent decision‑making judgment; strong teamwork/collaboration and cross‑functional skills.

Proven track record of success in learning and adapting to an evolving environment such as Covid‑19 to overcome obstacles and challenges.

Ability to be agile and adapt to the changing telemedicine/virtual environment.

Analytical skills to assess progress against objectives and diagnose performance issues, identifying new opportunities.

Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to a diverse customer audience.

Work hours may include meetings scheduled outside normal working hours.

Territories may require some overnight travel depending on geography.

Domestic travel to corporate headquarters, training, and sales meetings will also be required periodically.

Salary range for this position: $98,000 – $155,000
