Neuro Sales Specialist - Fitchburg, MA

We have recently acquired Intra-Cellular Therapies, a company focused on CNS disorders, and are expanding our CAPLYTA® medical team in psychiatry.
Responsibilities
Follow compliance guidelines and drive sales performance to meet or exceed forecasts within the assigned territory by calling on HCP offices and Mental Health Community Centers both in-person and virtually.
Use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives; customize discussions and client interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner.
Maintain current understanding of the local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers; share such information with Intra-Cellular stakeholders.
Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region; identify and select programs/resources appropriate for each customer.
Work with Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all objectives.
Capitalize on formulary approvals and other business opportunities through effective implementation of the strategic plan.
Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and share best practices.
Accurately administer work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample and expense reporting.
Build a business plan based on depth and breadth of customer needs, resources and products.
Complete all required training within the required timelines.
Requirements
2+ years of previous sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical device sales (3+ years in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred). Experience with launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales highly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
Strong desire and passion for improving patients’ lives; patient‑centric mindset.
Integrity and compliance with company policies.
High motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, excellent judgment, strong collaboration and cross‑functional skills.
Track record of success learning and adapting in evolving environments such as COVID‑19.
Agility to adapt to telemedicine/virtual environments.
Analytical skills to assess progress against objectives and identify new opportunities.
Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences.
Work hours may include meetings outside normal working hours; domestic travel to corporate headquarters, training and sales meetings will be required periodically.
Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Salary range: $98,000 - $155,000.
