Overview We are hiring for a Finance Manager on our Gallagher Bassett Team!
How you'll make an impact
Manage a team of 2-3 strong, technical financial analysts dedicated to understanding the complex contractual relationships with our clients and ensuring the service fee billing process follows these terms appropriately
Ensure consistent, scalable processes to ensure accurate and timely billing based on contractual relationship with clients
Ensure appropriate controls, procedures and escalations to allow for appropriate oversight and notification
Work to drive best practices to ensure the scalability and consistency of processes
Collaborate with Account Managers, Account Executives and Finance groups to ensure controls are appropriately applied especially in relation to client contracts
Ensure organizational delivery target dates are consistently being met
Perform ad hoc analyses for operational and financial management and to support business needs

Strong Excel skills:
Ability to work with large data sets
Ability to utilize functions/formulas and other Excel mechanisms to build new and understand existing processes

Ability to interact with clients, producers, account managers, external vendors (i.e., banks, payment processors) and senior leadership throughout Gallagher Bassett
Ability to interact with teams across Finance to ensure adherence to timeliness and quality standards
Ability to interact with our Gallagher Center of Excellence team to ensure adherence to timeliness and quality standards
Strong written communication skills
Proven presentation skills
About You Required:
Bachelor's degree and 7 years related experience required.
Preferred:
Good working knowledge of the insurance brokerage business
Strong PC and Microsoft application skills
Insurance or TPA (Third Party Administrator) background preferred
Understanding of Banking, Billing and Accounts Receivable processes
Bachelor’s degree, with preference in analytical field such as Finance, Accounting, Math, or Economics
MBA or related advanced degree a plus
