Position Summary The

Business Development & Executive Support Specialist

plays a key role in driving community visibility, partnership growth, and strategic opportunities for Impact! Partners Financial. This professional represents the firm externally through networking, relationship-building, and collaboration with business and community organizations—while providing high-level support to the CEO to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate is proactive, polished, and naturally relationship-oriented. They thrive in a fast-paced, people-driven environment and take pride in turning introductions into partnerships and connections into results.

Approximate Focus:

80% Business Development | 20% Executive Support

Primary Responsibilities

Build and expand the firm’s visibility through active participation in community, civic, and professional organizations.

Represent Impact! Partners Financial and the CEO at networking events, community functions, and professional gatherings.

Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with CPAs, attorneys, real estate professionals, and business leaders to strengthen referral and collaboration pipelines.

Identify, evaluate, and manage sponsorships, partnerships, and co-hosted event opportunities in alignment with marketing and growth goals.

Conduct outreach to potential partners and manage ongoing relationship follow-ups.

Collaborate with the marketing team on local event execution, community initiatives, and partner co-marketing opportunities.

Track and report partnership metrics, meetings, and outcomes within the firm’s CRM system.

Research emerging community opportunities, local trends, and organizations that align with the firm’s mission and target demographic.

Support and represent the firm’s brand at seminars, workshops, and client events to strengthen engagement and generate introductions.

Assist with the coordination and preparation of presentations, marketing materials, and partnership proposals.

Executive Support

Manage and prioritize the CEO’s calendar and appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and preparation for business and community meetings.

Facilitate communication between the CEO, internal teams, and external partners.

Prepare meeting summaries, track follow-ups, and assist with strategic correspondence.

Support event attendance logistics, travel coordination, and occasional personal scheduling as needed.

Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all business and personal matters.

Success in This Role Looks Like

The firm’s visibility in the Houston and surrounding markets increases through active relationship-building and consistent community presence.

Strategic partnerships and referral relationships generate measurable business opportunities.

The CEO’s time and priorities are optimized for strategic engagement and leadership initiatives.

CRM documentation, relationship tracking, and follow-ups are consistent and accurate.

You represent the Impact! Partners brand with confidence, professionalism, and integrity in every interaction.

Travel & Schedule

Regular local travel for meetings, networking events, and community involvement.

Occasional out-of-town travel (approximately 3–4 times per year) for conferences or events.

Availability for select evening or weekend events as part of community and business engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).

5+ years of experience in business development, community relations, or partnership management roles.

Proven success in cultivating and maintaining professional relationships.

Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.

Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-up habits.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and represent leadership with professionalism.

Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
