We are seeking a Software Engineer in Test with extensive experience in front-end, API, and database testing. You will lead the development of scalable and robust automation frameworks and play a key role in ensuring high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in tools like Cypress, Playwright, and Rest Assured, with hands-on experience in AWS environments.
Job Responsibilities:
Design and develop robust automation frameworks for UI, API, and database testing
Lead testing efforts across front-end, backend, and database layers
Collaborate with software developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing processes
Drive test strategy, planning, and execution across large-scale projects
Implement performance, regression, and chaos testing strategies
Maintain detailed documentation of testing tools, frameworks, and best practices
Use monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog) to analyze system health
Support version control and release management processes
Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices in test automation
Required Skills:
8+ years of software engineering/test automation experience Principal-level experience in software engineering or test engineering roles Strong in front-end, API, and DB testing methodologies Expertise in developing test automation frameworks from scratch Proficient in Cypress or Playwright Hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API automation Experience with SQL and database testing (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB) Proficient with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub, Maven Hands-on AWS experience for cloud-native testing and deployments Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Xray) Experience with DevOps tools and practices Preferred Skills:
Experience with chaos engineering and observability tools like Splunk and Datadog Familiarity with LWC, Monorepo, and Bitbucket (Stash) Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies Certifications:
