Position Summary As a Professional Liability Underwriter, you will be responsible for evaluating exposures and pricing to maintain a profitable new and renewal book to meet production objectives within a team environment. A key responsibility in this role is developing and maintaining relationships with wholesale broker partners within the Southeast Region.

Responsibilities

Play a key role on the Professional Liability team of HudsonPro underwriting classes including: Technology E&O, Cyber, Media Professional, Miscellaneous Professional Liability and Manufacturers’ E&O

Analyze individual risks and establish a profitable portfolio with underwriting exposure and pricing strategy consistent with company objectives and guidelines

Develop and maintain a portfolio in line with team goals of growing a profitable book of new and renewal business

Develop and maintain relationships with wholesale brokers in the Southeast US, through excellent service levels, as well as in-person marketing

Take an active role in partnering with the management team to further identify production sources and identify profitable market opportunities and product/industry trends

Keep up to date with market trends and emerging risks

Assist in the identification and development of new products and niche opportunities

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of professional liability / E&O underwriting experience

Current cyber/technology E&O experience a plus
