Electromechanical Product Design Engineer
Join to apply for the Electromechanical Product Design Engineer role at Tesla.
What To Expect The Electrical Distribution System is the connective framework which provides power and communications connectivity to every device in Tesla products. From novel connection and termination design to automated wiring construction and more, the Electrical Distribution Mechanical Design Team seeks to reinvent how electronic systems and devices are assembled and assembled from first principles, and ultimately how vehicles can be manufactured. With fast paced innovation and collaboration, we routinely tackle extremely difficult engineering challenges and continuously push beyond what was deemed possible regarding performance, manufacturing, automation, timing, and cost. Our novel and often patented technologies and collaboration with other cross-functional engineering teams enable unequaled world class performance and vertical integration in Tesla’s vehicle and energy products.
We are seeking engineers with a creative drive, strong mechanical engineering fundamentals using first principles reasoning to take products through the design, prototype, manufacturing, test, and production ramp cycle. Recent projects in our portfolio include the 48V distribution system and connectivity in the Cybertruck.
Roles are available at multiple seniority levels i.e. Sr, Staff, etc. for those with more experience.
