Controller – Nonprofit Organization
Our client, a nonprofit organization, is seeking a Controller to oversee its accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting. This role manages the day‑to‑day finance function, supports the month‑end and year‑end close processes, and maintains effective internal controls.
Salary Base pay range: $120,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr (based on experience).
Key Responsibilities
Review financial statements and monitor budgets.
Improve accounting procedures and support leadership with analysis and planning.
Streamline systems, guide team members, and assist with annual audit and compliance needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Several years of accounting experience, including oversight responsibilities.
Strong grasp of financial reporting, budgeting, and general accounting practices.
Comfortable working with accounting software and managing multiple priorities.
Advanced credentials or nonprofit experience are helpful but not required.
