Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Gyn Oncology Department
Location:
Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, NY (75 minutes north of NYC); also patients at Kingston, NY outpatient clinic.
Position Overview Full‑time Nurse Practitioner responsible for coordinating, overseeing, and providing advanced nursing care to gynecologic oncology patients. Works collaboratively with gynecologic, medical, and radiation oncologists, residents, supportive care team, and nursing staff. Participates in performance improvement, research, and the actualization of the Oncology Division philosophy and objectives.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee advanced nursing care for gynecologic oncology patients.
Carry out plan of care for assigned patient panel.
Collaborate with oncologists, residents, and supportive care teams.
Participate in performance improvement and research activities.
Provide advanced nursing care in Kingston, NY outpatient clinic.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse with advanced practice certification (NP or PA).
Minimum one year of clinical experience related to surgical oncology or other relevant oncology experience (preferred).
Oncology Nursing Certificate desirable.
Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
Benefits & Compensation Salary range: $120,000 – $150,000, relative to experience.
Location in Mid‑Hudson Valley offers excellent housing, schools, and recreational opportunities.
