Job Description A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a
Product Development Engineer - Failure Analysis .
Position type:
Full-time Location:
San Jose, CA (Onsite) Shift Timing:
9:00 PM to 6:00 AM, 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
As a
Product Development Engineer - Failure Analysis , you will need:
Skills:
BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, Linux, Python (intermediate), server and debugging, hardware board testing.
Key Responsibilities
Execute pretest scripts and diagnostic procedures on test fixtures.
Review and analyze log files to perform initial triage based on engineering documentation.
Operate within Linux environments to run commands and interpret outputs.
Understand and navigate system architecture components including compute trays, switch trays, TOR switches, and power shelves.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support board and system-level electrical design validation.
Apply EE fundamentals to assess digital design, signal integrity, timing, fault analysis, and sampling.
Contribute to the development and testing of complex server and networking platforms.
Required Qualifications
4+ years of relevant industry experience in hardware testing or electrical engineering.
Proficiency with Linux command line tools and scripting.
Solid understanding of system architecture and networking components.
Experience in reviewing logs and performing root cause analysis.
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles including: digital design, signal integrity, timing and fault analysis, statistics and sampling, computer architecture.
Prior experience in board-level or system-level electrical design.
Familiarity with high-performance server and networking platforms.

Pay Range and Benefits Pay Range:
