Join a leading Texas engineering firm specializing in water resources and floodplain management. As a Project Engineer, you’ll develop and refine hydrologic and hydraulic models for FEMA flood studies, CLOMR/LOMR applications, and flood risk assessments.
The Job:
Drive the planning, analysis, and delivery of floodplain and stormwater management projects across public and private sectors.
Lead the development of hydraulic and hydrologic models using HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and SWMM to support FEMA flood studies, CLOMR/LOMR applications, and regulatory compliance.
Manage project scopes, budgets, and client communications while ensuring accuracy, technical excellence, and adherence to local and federal guidelines.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and sub consultants to assess flood risks, design mitigation strategies, and support sustainable land development.
What they need?
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
Licensed EIT.
2+ years of experience in water resources engineering.
Benefits
Approximate salary range of $75,000 – $95,000.
