We are currently seeking a Logistics Rep to work in our Romulus Product Development facility.
Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Oversees tracking components/parts including receiving, storing, and organizing materials
Implements best practices to minimize errors, damages, and losses
Oversee the shipping of components locally, nationally, and globally
Address any delays promptly and implement corrective actions
Effectively communicates with the team addressing any concerns with shipments
Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Logistics / Commodity Representative
Must have experience with DHL and FedEx procedures
Must have experience with international shipping
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
Continuous standing, walking, bending.
Must have a valid Chauffer driver's license (with a clean driving record)
Must have a HS diploma
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently and with a team
Must have great communication skills (orally and written)
Must be familiar with an ERP system
Must have be computer literate (MS Office Suite experience)
