Job Summary Frank Productions, LLC is looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our team part‑time at the Orpheum Theater in Madison, WI. We are committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and encourage talent from all backgrounds to apply.

What This Person Will Do

Works directly with the General Manager to perform day of show duties

Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for staff and patrons

Act as the main point of contact to address guest concerns and complaints regarding security and customer service‑related situations

Serve as a key point of contact between venue employees, guests, and senior management to facilitate clear and effective communication

Monitor and address operational challenges in real time, proactively identifying and resolving issues

Ensure that all employees adhere to company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guest service standards, and safety regulations

Perform opening/running/closing duties according to company and venue policy

Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area and reporting any issues encountered

Conduct regular inspections of venue spaces to ensure cleanliness, organization, and readiness for events and daily operations

Maintain accurate records of operational activities, guest feedback, and incident reports

All other duties as assigned

What This Person Will Bring

Working knowledge of venue operations and customer service in a hospitality‑related business

Ability to direct a team with leadership qualities that exemplify respect, integrity, teamwork and quality

Willingness to work unconventional hours as job duties demand

Ability to handle difficult situations in a professional manner

Ability to quickly adapt and adjust projects to new expectations and direction

Ability to work independently and solve problems using sound decision‑making skills

Ability to lead and coordinate projects

Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment that includes in‑person collaboration, group e‑mails, and instant messaging

Professional and friendly demeanor

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to learn and work within systems such as MS Office, project management tools, and other company software

Physical Requirements And Working Environment

Performs duties while standing and walking, including ascending and descending stairs

Lifts up to 75 pounds

Crouches, kneels, twists, bends, and reaches frequently

Occasionally works at heights above ground level

Utilizes hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment

Regularly exposed to large crowds and high volumes of noise

Occasionally works in outdoor conditions
