Project Manager – DSA Projects
Location: Bay Area, CA
About the Role A leading Bay Area builder is seeking a
Project Manager with extensive DSA experience
to oversee education-sector construction projects, including new construction, renovations, and campus modernizations. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing budgets, schedules, and stakeholder communication in a fast-paced, compliance-heavy environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all phases of DSA-regulated construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Develop and monitor budgets, schedules, cost controls, owner reports, and subcontractor agreements.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, the DSA inspector, and school district personnel.
Lead OAC and internal project team meetings.
Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and DSA documentation workflows.
Ensure project quality, compliance, and safety standards are consistently upheld.
Qualifications
7–12+ years of project management experience within commercial or public works construction.
Must have demonstrated experience managing DSA K–12 or community college projects.
Strong financial management skills and proficiency with construction software (Procore, CMiC, Bluebeam, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
