Job Overview The Program Coordinator manages a portfolio of summer and special programs, overseeing all aspects of program management from design and development through implementation under the direction of the Director of Program Management. The Coordinator ensures on‑time delivery of high‑quality academic programs and troubleshoots problems when programs are in session, minimizing impact on students and faculty.

Work Interactions The Program Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Program Management, Summer and Special Programs and collaborates with internal partners such as the Office of the University Registrar, Student Centers, GEMS, Office of Government Relations, Office of Transportation Management, Classroom Education Technology Services, SCS Marketing, the Director of Finance and Operations, the Assistant Dean of Faculty Affairs, and the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, as well as external partners and vendors.

This position may work remotely from September 1 to March 31 but must be on campus at least two days a week from April 1 to August 31. Additional days may be required to meet programmatic needs, and the coordinator will attend select program events (e.g., check‑ins, closing ceremonies, orientations).

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and up to 1 year of experience in academic program management (2 years preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Proficiency with Google Drive and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay Range $23.80 – $29.08 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, and other factors.

Work Mode Designation Hybrid.
