8am to 4pm Patient Population:
Ages 5-22, IDD Responsibilities: Evaluating communication skills, including: receptive language, expressive language, articulation, voice, fluency, oral-motor skills, and hearing Developing a comprehensive service plan according to program policies and regulations, including school, outpatient, etc. Providing therapy as outlined by the treatment plan of communication disorders of the Individual Treatment Plan/Individual Education Plan Instructing and counseling students/clients and/or their families regarding the specific nature of their communication impairments and how to best deal with this in various speaking situations Qualifications: 3+ years of Speech Language Pathology experience Master's Degree or its equivalent in the field of Speech Pathology NYS Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license Hold Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech/Hearing Association Desired Skills: Experience with the IDD population
