Job Title: Project Accountant (AP Specialist)
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant with a focus on Accounts Payable (AP) to manage high-volume invoice processing for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, while maintaining compliance and supporting overall project financials.
Key Responsibilities
Efficiently process a high volume of vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
Track and monitor project‑related expenses, reconciling discrepancies as needed.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial alignment and compliance with budgets.
Assist in financial reporting and budget tracking for multiple projects.
Resolve any invoicing issues and communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in accounts payable and project accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Proficiency in accounting software Procore, Sage, and MS Excel, with experience in managing large datasets.
Preferred
Familiarity with construction management software.
Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
