About the Position The E-Commerce Books Production Associate is responsible for sorting, scanning, listing and shipping books, media and vinyl.

Position Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Effectively perform daily sorting, scanning, and/or listing of ISBN and non‑ISBN books, media and vinyl.

Operate and load books into the book sorting machine.

Responsible to meet productivity standards and production goals.

Responsible for grading the condition of books according to industry standards.

Collect book orders from warehouse, as needed.

Prepare shipping labels / package items sold, as needed.

Maintain a smooth flow of incoming and outgoing book product.

Maintain a clean work environment.

Demonstrate safe work practices through awareness and observation in support of a safety culture; reports any potential hazards or accidents.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

High school graduate or GED equivalency but not required.

Customer service experience preferred.

Knowledge of e‑commerce book processes is helpful.

Knowledge of merchandise and customer service is desirable.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet production deadlines.

Ability to operate automated systems to sort, scan, process, and ship books and media.

Computer / Technology Skills

Proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Internet research skills.

Ability to learn new technology and software as related to the job.

Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations

This role may require the ability to operate an electric pallet jack and stacker. Certification and training provided by Evergreen Goodwill. Employee must meet eligibility requirements.

Physical Abilities While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to lift and carry up to 35 to 50 pounds; have developed fine motor control (grasp, handle, manipulate objects with fingers; standing for long periods, frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, squatting, pushing; climbing ladders; able to travel across a variety of surfaces (stairs, ramps, uneven terrain)). Able to communicate with others effectively both verbally and written, including those who have limited English skills. Maintain reliable attendance.
