Senior Manager Sterile Processing (Full‑time Day)

in Torrance and San Pedro, CA. This full‑time role oversees the Sterile Processing Departments at both locations, working closely with Perioperative and Interventional leadership, clinical and support staff, and physicians throughout the South Bay Ministries.
Responsibilities:
Define, manage, and closely monitor the strategic plan for Sterile Processing across both sites.
Develop, implement, and manage operational budgets for the departments.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with perioperative and interventional leadership and clinical staff.
Collaborate with the Executive Director of Perioperative Services to align departmental objectives with organizational strategy.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards for sterile processing.
Lead, train, and develop the sterilization team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and staff empowerment.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Healthcare related field.
Upon hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician – Healthcare Sterile Processing Association, or National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician – Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution, or National Certified Instrument Specialist – Healthcare Sterile Processing Association, or National Certified Surgical Instrument Specialist – Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
3 years supervisory experience, including training and staff development.
5 years budget management and analysis experience.
7 years work experience in the field of Sterile Processing.
